This latest version of the LED Leak Lights feature a number of improvements:

The lights are not affixed to a cord, which allows the user to keep one cord out and simply switch out the lights as needed
There are 2 extension cords (purchased separately) that allow the switch to be closer to the LED light (switching between on and off repeatedly is an essential leak testing technique)
One long LED emitter strip (as opposed to several spaced-out LED emitters) allows full light emission 360º around the tube
Easier on the eyes
Components can be purchased separately as opposed to in kits
