The JLS Power Brush System
The System
The JLS Power Brush System is a method for cleaning the inside of metal instrument tubing and producing a satin finish.
The Products
JLS Power Brushes
These brushes fit different sizes of tubing – all designed to use under power (with a pneumatic hand-held die grinder or a cordless drill).
JLS Cleaning Solution
This solution is a thin paste that helps clean the inside of the tubing and leave a satin finish.
The surfactant within the solution provides lubrication for a mild abrasive which helps remove dirt, grease and deposit buildup (including lime deposits that come from saliva).
After cleaning the instrument, it can easily be rinsed away with water.

Working with Other Cleaning Methods
This system is best used in combination with either the traditional acid-dip or the ultrasonic methods of cleaning, but it can also be used exclusively by itself as an alternative method.
If using with the other cleaning methods, it’s best to do so after those methods have been applied.
The cleaning solution can only be applied as far as the brush can reach, so it works best on straight tubing.
About The Satin Finish
With the traditional acid-dip method, the acid may slightly etch the tubing, whereas the ultrasonic method does not affect the finish.
Using our system will provide a satin finish, which is best for holding oil, allowing it to work well with lubricants used on slide tubes.

We recommend following the below steps over a tub or utility sink. Please wear protective safety goggles when performing these steps.
