JLS Q and Q2 Felt Sheets

Q and Q2 Felt are dense sheet felt, made out of recycled materials, that can be applied to keywork where you might have used felt or cork. They are soft, forgiving, dimensionally stable and won’t harden with age. Both can be applied with contact cement.

The differences between Q and Q2 Felt are subtle.

Q2 Felt is an aesthetically darker and functionally more forgiving material which helps its ability to conform to whatever surface it’s applied to. In our shop, we prefer to use it for flute foot material for example.
