Our JLS Enhanced Premium Stainless Steel Round Springs are beautiful. They are made of high-tensile stainless steel that is ground and polished. The surface finish is more akin to a gold flute spring than a typical stainless spring. Particularly in the smaller diameters (used for piccolo, flute, oboe and clarinet), the springs have a more lively feel than either the blued needle, regular stainless or gold springs.
