Used for handling, removing and installing straight springs, as well as for pulling flute key pins out. JLS made – non marring. Hardened stainless steel. Use with or without the easily removable return spring.
To remove flute key pins, there are two tools you’ll need. The first is these pliers. They are be your first course of actions. Ideally, the pins are removed with the simple action of pulling on the top of the pin with a hardened, non-marring tool like this.
Most of the pliers sold for pin removal are not appropriate and can do much damage. Our pliers above are simply to tug on the part – not to press it out.
The second course of action is our Key Pin Punch.
