Jeff Smith founded J.L. Smith & Co. in 1991 to provide the finest woodwind repair tools and supplies available to the craft. In addition to searching the world for quality tools and supplies, Jeff has designed custom tools specific to the industry, based on his more than 25 years experience as a woodwind technician. Each item in the J.L. Smith catalog has been tested in our shop. Jeff Smith is also a nationally recognized clinician for NAPBIRT (National Association of Band Instrument Repair Technicians) and is a much demanded trainer at national and regional events.
