Burkart Sterling Silver M2 with 14k Gold Riser

Like-New M2! This lovely Burkart M2 headjoint has seen very little use. It has been carefully handled throughout its life and remains in nearly pristine condition.  The tenon has never been resized on this headjoint and it features solid 925 AG sterling tubing and lip plate with a 14k gold riser.

The M2 is Lillian Burkart’s most innovative design, with a unique cut that allows the player to achieve a greater degree of responsiveness and projection with improved dynamic range and a powerful low register. The embouchure shape causes a quick excitement of the air stream, focusing the tone to produce a clear, clean, directed sound. All three octaves have a ringing resonance and a dark core.
