SHEET MATERIAL

Q Felt: Made entirely of recycled materials, Valentino Q Felt is a dense material applied to key work where you would normally use felt or cork. We control the dimensions in our fabrication process, so the thickness is dialed in far more precisely than is possible with traditional felt. Q Felt is soft to the touch and forgiving. It won't get hard with age and it always runs quiet. We especially love the Q2 style for flute foot material. We provide Q Felt for many of the most particular and demanding factories and workshops around the globe. This ultra-reliable, long-lasting material is fast becoming the padding of choice for technicians everywhere. Manufacturers can request a quote on fabricated pre-cut shapes as well.

Synthetic Sheet: An excellent, versatile material for key bumpers, joint corks and much more, our dimensionally-precise Synthetic Sheet is ideal for critical adjustment applications on clarinet, oboe, piccolo, and flute work. Available in black, tan, and cork colors.

Sheet Felt: Punch and cut your own shapes from our top-quality sheet felt. This superb natural felt is available in two different thicknesses and densities and can be ordered in black, white, red, and green colors.

Sheet Cork: For all of your corking needs we offer a complete variety of cork types, including press-filled cork, tech cork, cross-grain cork strips, and composition cork. We also offer an efficient and economical Sheet Cork Assortment with a full range of cork types in various thicknesses.

Leather: A fantastic material to use in places where cork would wear through, such as the clarinet Ab/Eb key, leather also works beautifully as silencing material on flutes. (Be sure to account for compression when making adjustments.) Leather is a great way to personalize your work too, like wrapping bars on sax stack keys.

Ultrasuede: This materials has many of the same applications as sheet felt. It produces a smoother action and is much more durable than cork. Utlrasuede is great for the top of stack feet on saxes and on keys that connect with a body push rod on the bassoon.

PTFE: PTFE sheets are etched on one side to allow for bonding and are offered in two common thicknesses. The .005" will be most useful in key work, and it's even more helpful in brass work. Use it to cover your dent machine shoes and your dent hammer faces to reduce the danger of tool.
