6" dial caliper will become your most used measuring tool. Very versatile, very fast. The preferred tool for measuring accurate lengths. The tail can also be used to measure blindhole depths and so forth.

0-1" micrometer. A must have for every shop. Measure any part with the highest accuracy. A micrometer is the preferred tool (yes, even over a caliper) for measuring outside diameters (o.d.) of parts.
