Job Description:

 

This versatile position will be a face of Flute World in our Detroit showroom! In this fast-paced role, you will pivot between assisting Flute World clients shopping for print music, accessories, and instruments in-store and serving clients across the country and internationally with our JLSmith Tool & Supply, Altieri, Beaumont, and Gel Rest brands. As an ambassador for our brands, you will be trained to be the subject matter expert with all our products and services, respond to inbound sales opportunities, and provide an impeccable experience in all communications and interactions.

 

Responsibilities + Expectations:

 

–           Develop a deep understanding of our brands, products, and clients

–           Maintain organized inboxes and internal processes

–           Enthusiastically respond to all client needs via email, phone, and in person

–           Advocate for our clients in our internal processes

–           Drive positive client feedback with impeccable service

–           Maintain attractive displays of instruments, print music, and accessories in the Detroit showroom

–           Lead individualized appointments to assist clients in choosing new instruments in a backup capacity

–           Weekend hours required (Tuesday – Saturday work week)

–           Some travel to regional and national trade shows/events required

 

Skills + Attributes:

–           Minimum of 1-year sales/customer service experience desired

–           Musical background strongly preferred

–           Strong communication skills via phone/video, email, and in-person

–           Willingness to collaborate and be part of a team

–           Advanced time management, problem solving, and organizational skills

–           Eagerness to learn, take on projects, share ideas, and contribute to solutions

–           Positive, results oriented personality

–           Professional demeanor and appearance

–           Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
